The areas of Didáctica de la Expresión Musical at University of A Coruña, University of Santiago de Compostela and University of Vigo organize the III International Congress of Music and Culture for Inclusion and Innovation (III CIMCII), which will be held on May 27, 28 and 29, 2021 in A Coruña. The Association of Music Teachers of Galicia (ASOMÚSICA) will also collaborate with the organization.

The Congress will take place at the facilities of the Faculty of Education Sciences of A Coruña, where specialists from different national and international origins, will share with the attendees the important role that Music plays as a socializing, interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary and inclusive element. The different elements that allow integral development in the training of people and the key role that culture and education play in this process will be addressed. In addition, the prominent role of Arts Education as a therapeutic tool will be shown. We must become aware that Music accompanies us throughout our lives and it serves to express states of mind, but also to share information and transfer cultural elements.
